What’s The Format?
Each season of Ink Master consists of ten episodes. During each episode, the artists are put through a different challenge. The last artist standing is crowned the winner and takes home a $100,000 prize!
Who Are the Judges?
The host of Ink Master is Dave Navarro. He’s a musician and actor who has also dabbled in tattooing. He’s the perfect person to lead this show because he has experience on both sides of the needle! Other judges include Chris Nunez and Oliver Peck.
What Are Some Of The Challenges?
The challenges that the artists face can vary from season to season. In Season One, they had to create a traditional Japanese tattoo for someone who was getting their first ink session ever! In Season Two, they were tasked with designing a sleeve tattoo on someone who had never gotten inked before.
Who Died On Ink Master?
Danial Silva is a form are ink master artist, he recently paid tribute to his friend Corey La Barrie who recently passed away. He posted a tattoo picture on his Instagram that is tattooed on his departed friend. This was the best way for a tattoo artist to pay tribute to his friend.
Another death that is more relevant to the show is that of Clint Cummings who was a part of the show in season 2 and season 3. Clint Cummings was a successful tattoo artist and also had his own tattoo shop by the name of Sparrow Tattoo Company. Sadly he passed away in 2016 due to colon cancer.
In addition to the Clint Cummings death, one of the judges Oliver Peck also suffered from a heart attack due to which he had to skip some of the important challenges on the show. However once he recovered he was back on the show.

Scott Campbell is the richest tattoo artist, who charges $1000 for first hour of tattooing and $200 every succeeding hour.
